Tagline

I had always wanted my love story to be told for years and years, but not like this.

Thoughts

I want to know what I look and sound like from another person's eyes and ears. Honestly, isn't that what everyone would want if there was some possibility of achieving it? The chance to observe every fault and problem and then be able to immediately fix it. At least, fix it so you can be happy from your standards.

But would looking at yourself really help with anything? It would still be you looking at you and you already know you. At least, you should. But if you don't...I am not sure it would help.

Because you can't have another person's opinions be your own. You have to form your own and I doubt if you were able to look at yourself, it'd be any different from what you already had.

So I find this to be extremely difficult to define possible. Because in every aspect, it would blow the whole world to bits.

Secrets

Aboard the long train,
That goes across the continent,
Above the wooden track.
Passengers on cracked leather seats,
Along the mountainous way,
Chat about the news.
Down the stairs, they debark,
Onto the old platform.
After most have left,
All on his own,
A little boy in raggedy clothing,
Looks forlorn, against the wall.
Who is this boy,
Without a mentor?
Left behind the crowd,
The boy was forgotten.
Within their hearts,
And everything concerning the child.
Throughout the ages,
He was commonly seen.
But now, they have lost total sight.
Open mouths prompt his leaving.
Wordless, few are able to welcome him back
With their silence.

Before a decade
Goes past this generation
I hope that he is remembered
And we embrace him.

Still Unfinished Poem/Song

There's a fellow I happen to know
He may seem happy
He wants to be your friend
He looks all put together on the outside

But I've seen what it looks like
On the inside where he's been all cut up
And pasted back together

That's just who you are.

I'm slowly fading into the background.
Soon, I'll just be that face on the wall.
The one you never really knew, but the one you led on.

I don't think you really take the time,
I'm just another face in the crowd,
Just one of those typical pretty girls.

Untitled Song

If I was scared, would you hold me close?
There are so many things in this world
Things that make me want to run and hide.
Things inside of me, rearing their ugly heads

I'm just trying to be me
In this world that wants everything
They want me to be just like them

If I was about to cry, would you stay my tears?
I may seem so strong
But these emotional barriers
Are breaking down

I'm just trying to be me
In this world that wants everything
They want me to be just like them

If I went to pieces, would you put me back together?
I used to think duct tape solved all my problems
But my facade is cracking like a mirror struck with
A thousand tiny stones.

So who am I really supposed to be
When there are so many ways
To find out who I am
